Global Gateway Survey: European Private Sector in the Circular Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean

Is your company active in the circular economy in Latin America or the Caribbean? The European Commission is gathering input from EU businesses and business associations currently engaged in or exploring circular economy activities across the region. Your experience and priorities matter — share them before the 31st May 2026 deadline.

The survey covers four key sectors:

  1. Waste & water: Sustainable management of waste and water resources
  2. Industrial value chains: Circular approaches across manufacturing and industry
  3. Resource-efficient models: Business models designed for resource optimisation
  4. Innovation: New solutions and technologies for a circular future

If your company operates in any of these areas in Latin America or the Caribbean, we want to hear from you!

Why participate?
  • Help identify market opportunities in LAC where EU companies’ expertise creates real value
  • Align potential projects with local and regional needs across the continent
  • Directly shape EU support mechanisms for the region’s transition to a circular economy

What you should know
  • Participation is voluntary and non-binding — no legal or financial commitments required from respondents or the Commission.
  • All data will be analysed with full confidentiality guaranteed.
  • Participants may be contacted by DG INTPA for follow-up as part of the Working Group on Circular Economy in LAC.
  • Findings will feed into the EU-LAC Global Gateway Investment Agenda, promoting sustainable infrastructure investment across the region.
